NHC's Selling Process

Red boxes below are Listing Specialist tasks and black boxes are the office administrative tasks.

Connect with The New Home Collective

Connect with a Listing Specialist or anyone from the New Home Collective. Virtual appointments are available via Facebook Messenger, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, & Zoom.

Video Walkthrough of your Home

While video conferencing using Facebook Messenger (preferred), FaceTime, Zoom, or Google Hangout you will give your listing specialist a tour of your home as they take notes and create a pricing strategy.

Pricing Strategy

Your listing specialist will present a pricing strategy based on the market and the condition of your home.

Agree on a Price

Agree on a listing price for your home

Agree on Terms & Conditions

It’s important to discuss terms and conditions to ensure a smooth transaction.

Sign Paperwork

Sign your listing paper work via Dotloop.

Marketing Plan

A custom digital marketing plan will be prepared for your home. Once your listing is active we post it on multiple websites such as the MLS, SearchKentuckyHomes.com, Facebook, Craigslist, etc.

Staging Options

Discuss staging options via video call. Our stager can guide you how to prepare your home for quality photos.

Photography/Virtual Tours

Schedule an appointment with our professional photographer. In addition to professional photos we offer virtual tours to help buyers get a feel for your home.

Our photographer requests no one to be home when shooting, as well as all lights to be left on and doors to be open (closets, basement, etc.)

Lock Box & Sign

Provide a spare key to our team member who will install your for sale sign and lockbox.

Your home is now live on the market and we can schedule a virtual showing that can be replayed for potential buyers. Our team will collaborate and create a marketing plan specific to your property.

Under Contract

Home Inspection

A home inspection is a thorough review of your home’s structure and systems by a professional home inspector. A buyer can use the inspection report to decide to rescind their offer if a major issue is uncovered, or to request repairs if the contract is contingent on a satisfactory report.
