Feeling stir crazy while social distancing and staying indoors as much as you can? Majority of us are working from home now, so it makes sense that you might be experiencing a little cabin fever. Do not fear this is the perfect time to give ourselves self-care,  and focus on our hobbies and interests! There is ALOT to do from home. Check out our tips below for cool ideas on how to stay active and focused during this pandemic.

- Listen to an Audiobook or Podcast

Nows your chance to pick up that book thats been lying around the house that you promised yourself you’d read but have yet to. If you’re reluctant to read a book, try out an audiobook  or podcast instead. You can multitask while listening such as exercise, yoga, stretch, draw, relax, etc.

- Think about what you are Grateful for

With all that’s happening around us, it gives us the chance to slow down and appreciate what we have. Jot down what you’re grateful for and spend some time being thankful for your health, family, and friends!

- Video Chat Family & Friends

If you feel that you need to talk to someone you always have the opportunity to FaceTime your friends and family.

- Cook/Bake something new

Go on Pinterest and search for a fun recipe to try! Or make your own creation with the ingredients you have at home. Turn on the cooking channel and have some fun!

- Meditate

Panicking, worrying, and fearing the worst will cause you a lot of stress. Stress is known to weaken your immune system, which is the opposite of what you need right now. Meditating can help ease your stress, stabilize your mood, and increase your well-being. Once you start, you’ll wonder why you didn’t try it sooner!

- Excercise

Gyms are understandably a scary place to be right now. If you are practicing social distancing, this is definitely a place to avoid at the moment. But, this is no excuse to stop getting fit! Walk/run around your neighborhood or follow an at-home workout routine video on Youtube to make sure you’re staying active!

- Stay Hydrated

Boost your immune system and well-being by making sure you’re staying hydrated.

- Sort through Photos

If you have photos that you haven’t seen in awhile, use this time to go through them. Be creative and make photo albums or just organize them!
